I was approached by a client to join their franchise who wanted to establish a monthly trade magazine for the restaurant industry in St. Louis. I eagerly took on this new challenge as it engaged all of my skills and challenged me on a few new ones. I published Restaurant Forum Magazine of St. Louis for over a year. In this capacity I hired and managed photographers and writers, handling all ad sales by myself. I researched and identified trending restaurants and chefs and conducted interviews with them. In many cases I wrote the stories under pseudonyms. I then would assemble, layout and typeset each issue and submit to the printer in Arizona. The following articles are an example of my work.

One of my proofing projects involved marketing materials for a group of 81 nursing homes. I proofed the copy and checked each document for branding consistency.
